I ran into this article earlier and it got me thinking: https://businessnewsthisweek.com/technology/why-mobile-gamings-download-decline-is-actually-good-news/. It says that even though mobile game downloads are dropping, it might actually be a positive trend. At first I thought it didn’t make sense, but then I realized I’ve changed my habits too. I used to download a lot of random games just to test them, but now I only keep a couple that I really enjoy and stick with them for a long time. It feels like people are becoming more loyal to certain games instead of constantly searching for new ones. Do you think that’s what’s happening?

I don’t play mobile games that much, but this seems like a natural pattern. At first people explore a lot of options, and later they settle into a few things they really like. It’s interesting to see how that behavior shows up in gaming as well as in other apps and digital platforms.
