Terms and Conditions for Attendees

 

For Events Hosted by YSPN

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

 

By registering for or attending any event hosted by YSPN, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and you agree to comply with them at all times. 

 

These terms are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all YSPN attendees.

 

2. Behaviour and Conduct

 

Attendees are expected to:

1. Treat all individuals with respect and dignity

2. Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour

3. Follow all lawful and reasonable instructions from event organisers and volunteers

 

Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the event and restriction from future participation.

 

3. Harassment and Inappropriate Conduct

 

YSPN enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for all forms of harassment, whether in person or online.

 

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

 

1. Unwanted sexual or romantic attention, including flirtatious remarks, persistent compliments, or inappropriate questions

 

2. Sending unwanted or unsolicited personal messages to other attendees via social media, email, or messaging apps before, during, or after the event including for the purpose of recruiting them into a direct selling or multi level marketing scheme

 

3. Intimidation, bullying, or discriminatory language or behaviour based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics

 

Attendees must maintain professional and respectful boundaries at all times, both at in-person and online events and on all associated digital platforms (e.g., event groups, discussion threads, livestream chats).

 

4. Sales, Promotion, and Solicitation

 

Unless explicitly approved in writing by YSPN, attendees agree not to engage in any: 

 

1. sales, promotions, or distribution of materials for personal, commercial, or political purposes are permitted during events.

This does not apply to:

• attendees who are affiliated with any YSPN approved sponsors or any attendees who have received written consent from the Chair to promote their business. 

 

2. Attendees may not solicit donations or promote unrelated organisations or causes.

 

3. Multi Level Marketing is strictly prohibited. Attendees must not promote, advertise or attempt to recruit others into MLMs, direct selling, or similar schemes at any events hosted by YSPN, either in person or online.  This includes but is not limited to: 

a) verbal promotion;

b) distribution of materials; 

c) using events for solicitation; or 

d) contacting individuals or organising informal meetings with individuals for the purpose of discussing or recruiting them into MLMs and similar schemes. 

 

5. Photography and Media

 

Events may be photographed, filmed, or livestreamed by YSPN for documentation or promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the potential use of your image unless you opt out by notifying event staff in advance.

 

6. Liability

 

YSPN is not responsible for:

 

• 1. Personal property lost, stolen, or damaged during the event

• 2. Injuries or accidents resulting from non-compliance with instructions or safety protocols

 

7.  Breach of Terms

 

Violation of these Terms may result in: 

 

1. Removal from the event without refund (if applicable)

2. Ban from future events hosted by YSPN

 

YSPN prides itself in creating safe and supportive environments for our attendees to network, learn and grow and your compliance with these Terms and Conditions will ensure YSPN can continue to do so.
